Spa Day!

So being cheap like I am I was diggin for coupons I could use & found this coupon in a magazine that came in the mail for a free spa for you & a friend, I called them immediately cause I was thinkin you know what? Catherine & I deserve a day off, or 1/2a day! So I call & make us appointments for Tuesday at 10:45am. We've been looking forward to it since last week. I just have to say it was awesome! We just had like a 3 hr spa day & then grabbed some lunch and came home to our babies & sweet babysitting husbands. This is seriously what the Dr ordered! We were just expecting to get one service & they gave us 3! Then set us up for appointments tomorrow for free MORE massages even, & then they set our husbands up with mineral baths & deep tissue massages on Thursday. Yeah we are totally amazing wives.

We REALLY deserved this cause her & I are driving home on Thursday morning about a 10hr drive? Yes we are road trippin' it with two babies, anyone have any small beaver tranquilizers? If so email me ;) I am sure someone has some saved for food storage or something, come on don't be selfish!

Ya I am pretty much a cool mom or a bad one the decision is yours, I took him to play in the mud! It was freezing cold water too! brr! He had mud in every crevice of his body, toes, nails, hair ears, eyebrows. Blegh my tub looked nasty after this cleanup.

He fell then decided to ROLL in it, about drownd. He seriously splashed me soo much I was soaked from the waist down then found mud in my hair in my shower, blah!

Celebrity Jack-O-Lantern Guess Who!

So I LOVE fall & halloween mostly cause of the all the fun things that come of it, the leaves change, it turns into sweater weather, pumpkin spice candles, & carving pumpkins is probably my favorite thing about fall. I love baking all my own pumpkin seeds in the oven with different seasonings! That seriously is the best! But I love carving them. It's always something I looked forward to growing up, we did it every year no matter what! Anyways so I thought I would play a tiny little game & see if you can guess who the celebrity jack-o-lantern is...See if these carvers are really good at what they do... here goes....



















I figured a post wouldn't be a post without a few pics of Dax, this what he looks like every meal, food everywhere! Him eating ravioli=him looking like a umpa loompa...looks like we got our halloween costume figured out! He started feeding himself with a spoon too which is fun but messy oh well they are only little once! The poor little guy has 3 teeth coming in at once so this teary eyed face is what I'm seeing a lot these days. That is right I will be gracing that city with my presence. I am going with my friends from back home (MILTON woo woo!) My friend Michelle is a hair stylist, & has a haircutting extravaganza going on in NYC, so her younger sister my BFF Cherish's parents bought her a ticket to NYC for her college graduation. Their family & I go way back Cherish & I probably spent 7 years straight together. Anyways they invited my other BFF Katie & I to go to NY, & I have like the sweetest husband who is letting me go,It will be hard to leave Dax but I really need this trip, Jake is going to stay home with Dax isn't he the best? a little birthday present for me :) Yes that's right I am 23 now, & I feel so old, I totally have an adult life. Anyways us 4 always have thee best times together, where your abs are sore before bed cause you laughed your butt off the whole day. Here are the ladies I am going with to New York with...

We would like to see a live taping of a show, like conan o'brien, or regis & kelly. We are really shooting for SNL, but we will see those tickets are hard to get! We are hoping some holiday decorations will be up! We plan on taking a run in central park, pretty exciting, Katie will be carrying her pepper spray that horns & flashes a bright light when sprayed, so we should be covered on safety :) It is going to be a girls trip, & I seriously just can't wait! We are getting a hotel downtown so that will be pretty fun, seriously I am so giddy about this. Anyone been before? Got any good ideas of things to do?
So a post wouldn't be a post with out a picture of Daxton, we took him to Chuck E Cheese this week, he had so much fun, I think his favorite had to be skeeball and the Bob the Builder ride.
