Well I know you've all heard about it or we've discussed it, but ya...
My husband is pretty rad. I have to say I am very proud to be married to a fearless man who does what he feels is right. I definately had to blog about this for my records. Jake tackled a fleeing criminal who was about to get away from the police. He even got a news interview & was on tv 3 times last night. He seriously does not think it's a big deal at all & thinks anyone would do it...no jake not true. Anyways the guy jake apprehended is going to prison & the police had been looking for this guy for quite awhile. It definately was an exciting day for jake! He has also been in this situation once before when we lived in Indiana this summer! So we are off to the happiest place on earth today won't be back for a week! We are definately going to enjoy the warm weather in LA & San diego... We are also going to the zoo & seaworld! This is going to be such an amazing trip for dax & can't wait to see what he does when he sees Mickey! Probably hyperventilate like usual ... These past few weeks he has been obsessed with Toy Story & Monsters Inc. which is so strange cause he is not a movie/tv kid, the most we've gotten him to sit & watch is like 5 minutes...but with his favorite movies we can get like 20 minutes! AMAZING! But I am wondering if he will recognize Buzz & Sully I hope so! Anyways I was out to dinner with some fun ladies las night way late at night which kept me from finishing my packing so I am just finishing up some final touches! here is some pics from us at disneyland last year! Chocolates for my Valentine.....or a gun whichever!

So if you got your husband a handgun for Valentines Day then you & I have something in common....But I doubt you did cause it takes a truly romantic person to do that... seriously what says "I LOVE YOU" like a 45 handgun? You are thinking you should of totally thought of that! Ya quit kicking yourself cause I am totally being sarcastic, I hate handguns...they make me sick to my stomach, uncomfortable, & I am totally afraid of them. We have some rules set to hopefully make me feel ok about it. Anyways Jake is convinced he is going to get me to shoot it someday at like a shooting range...Heck no I am keeping my gun shooting virginity! Thank you very mucho! I in turn am getting an SLR camera a Canon Rebel xsi, which I am stoked about I am watching them online on ebay you can get amazing deals, I missed out on theee most amazing deal for one which I am still bitter about uggh I will never get over it, so hopefully I will find another & get one this week. I went to the camera store & played around with one & loved it, so that'll be the one for me!

For Valentines, Braun watched Dax which was soo nice of him! So we went to the Happy Sumo for dinner & had the most delicious sushi dinner, it's like my new favorite place to eat! It's soooo yum! LOVE IT! Then we walked around the Riverwoods went to Williams & Sonoma bought stuff for the house, my favorite purchase has to be: I LOVE to make salsa & when I make it I have to make sure everything is cubed & it's soooo annoying & time consuming but I swear it tastes better! Anyways then we walked over to Borders to get the best hot chocolate EVER CoCo Trio! YUM! We then headed home & picked up Dax and took him to Mcdonalds to get a kid's cone & to run wild at the play zone! He LOVES to jump! I bet he will be a smoke jumper someday like his Grandpa's all were! He will jump off anything it's so fun but a little scary for me, here's some pics from that



We ended the night with stale popcorn & a redbox movie "Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist" It was good! It was definately our type of movie! I adore my husband & he is the most perfect man for me! He truly is my other half & knows me better than I know myself. What a perfect Valentine's Day & I just LOVE my boys!

My First Scrap In a Year!

I have not been able to sleep all night & decided to scrap my first page back! I messed up my shadows but am way too lazy to fix cause I am finally tired. Anyways last weekend we went on a couples trip to Jake's Uncle's cabin, there were tons of couples, it was fun being with Jake's family! We had such a good time. I was pretty freaked out on the snowmobiles mostly cause my husband can be fearless & do crazy things...he officially dubbed my snowmobiling nickname "screamfest 09" ya I am a whimp.
Anywho it was so much fun spending time together we agreed it was just what we needed. We even did some ice fishing & I caught a beautiful fish! I definately made sure we released it tho! Dax liked the snowmobiles if they were moving only.

Today we bought some Disney on Ice tickets with the Rodee's for March I am sooo excited! We have Disneyland & San Diego in 2 weeks! So incredibly excited for that, today we tried to prep Dax for seeing Mickey so he wouldn't be scared of the Real Life Mickey Mouse...We would show him pictures of people with Mickey & he of course got excited, then we would say "Dax are we gonna go to Disneyland & see Mickey?" AND he seriously started hyperventilating & whimpering it was so Funny! and a little weird... Anyways here is my 1st page in like a year!

Traveling around a bit

Well we went to go see my Grandma Paula(great grandma for Dax) for her birthday. I miss her so much always, I don't always call her, but I am always thinking of her. She seriously is the best Grandma I have ever had & has always been there to take care of me. I love her, & hanging out makes me think of the good ol' days when I lived with her, we used to always have so much fun, she is seriously how a grandma is supposed to be just hot & younger looking...caring, loving & she is always there she drives to see us for anything eventful!
