So if you got your husband a handgun for Valentines Day then you & I have something in common....But I doubt you did cause it takes a truly romantic person to do that... seriously what says "I LOVE YOU" like a 45 handgun? You are thinking you should of totally thought of that! Ya quit kicking yourself cause I am totally being sarcastic, I hate handguns...they make me sick to my stomach, uncomfortable, & I am totally afraid of them. We have some rules set to hopefully make me feel ok about it. Anyways Jake is convinced he is going to get me to shoot it someday at like a shooting range...Heck no I am keeping my gun shooting virginity! Thank you very mucho! I in turn am getting an SLR camera a Canon Rebel xsi, which I am stoked about I am watching them online on ebay you can get amazing deals, I missed out on theee most amazing deal for one which I am still bitter about uggh I will never get over it, so hopefully I will find another & get one this week. I went to the camera store & played around with one & loved it, so that'll be the one for me!
For Valentines, Braun watched Dax which was soo nice of him! So we went to the Happy Sumo for dinner & had the most delicious sushi dinner, it's like my new favorite place to eat! It's soooo yum! LOVE IT! Then we walked around the Riverwoods went to Williams & Sonoma bought stuff for the house, my favorite purchase has to be:
I LOVE to make salsa & when I make it I have to make sure everything is cubed & it's soooo annoying & time consuming but I swear it tastes better! Anyways then we walked over to Borders to get the best hot chocolate EVER CoCo Trio! YUM! We then headed home & picked up Dax and took him to Mcdonalds to get a kid's cone & to run wild at the play zone! He LOVES to jump! I bet he will be a smoke jumper someday like his Grandpa's all were! He will jump off anything it's so fun but a little scary for me, here's some pics from that
We ended the night with stale popcorn & a redbox movie "Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist" It was good! It was definately our type of movie! I adore my husband & he is the most perfect man for me! He truly is my other half & knows me better than I know myself. What a perfect Valentine's Day & I just LOVE my boys!

happy sumo IS really yummy! we went to this new place in the district called blue fish + it was SO GOOD! probably the best sushi i've had in utah so far!

Lee is obsessed with guns and nothing would make him happier than getting a gun! Lee has tons of handguns too! It just scares me when he wants to show Owen! (not being loaded of course!!) but they actually are fun to shoot so you should try it sometime :) Good luck and I am glad you had a good Valentines. We need to get the boys together soon!
I laughed and laughed becuase you said, "we went to THE happy sumo" and you know I only ever hear grammar like that in one place - and it's not the internet. Home sweet home :)
The gun - so funny, but I hope one of the rules is that it is NEVER loaded and you keep the ammo in a separate place than the gun. and LOCK IT UP. I keep hearing too many crazy scary stories about little kids getting into guns that are loaded and shooting themselves or their parents.
AND, the camera. I don't know exactly which Rebel that is, but I'm saving to get the $700 one. I've got a bit saved and I think I'll use my graduation money for the rest so I'll be getting it sometime next month or beginning of April. We can learn together! I'm already planning on cornering Amber to teach me how. :)
Whit! so Ebay had 1 that sold for 635 with a 2 yr best buy warranty 3 extra batteries 3 extra canon lenses & the canon rebel xsi & like a few extra things! I am sooo bitter I missed it tears fell! The lady had all her recipets showing how much she 1500 bucks! You can get the 700 dollar one online for 500ish
Oh I am totally jealous! I've wanted that camera forever but they are SO expensive! When you do buy it, let me know how much you got it for. Costco is the cheapest I've seen it but it was way out of my league! :) I guess that means you'll be taking more pics and posting more often!
