SO Those of you who know me pretty well might know I spent my youth about 6th gradish till after I graduated LOVING Blink 182, seriously I should post a pic of my old room it was insanely decked out with Blink stuff, pictures of me with Blink stuff from their concerts I stole, signed cd covers, knick-knacks & posters. At first Travis wasn't a orignal member of the band when I started liking them so I had a hard time excepting him till I heard how amazing he is. He is probably the best drummer of all time, he has had several projects & bands which are all amazing! They are like the first thing Jake & I bonded over & he was impressed with me mostly cause of Blink, it's practically what sealed the deal & helped me reel in my man! So seeing this on the news has shocked me & I teared....sad pathetic I know, but I've met Travis multiple times & it just hit me close I guess. I pray that he is okay & DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) too & of course their families, I will be keeping them all in my prayers! Anyways they crashed on Friday night sometime after midnight, & someone drove along & seen the plane on fire.
As he got closer he stopped & found Travis & DJ AM, both on fire screaming for help & tackling eachother to put the fire out, off eachother. *There is a video online of the plane burning & travis screaming for help* I just won't post it I think it's poor taste. Anyways they escaped the burning plane by sliding down the plane wing, 4 other people died on the plane they were the only 2 survivors.
Killed in the crash were Barker's assistant, Chris Baker; his security guard, Charles Still; and Sarah Lemmon and James Bland, the plane's pilot and co-pilot. Barker's clothing company, Famous Stars and Straps, has established a memorial fund for the families of Baker and Still.
Travis is expected to make a full recovery, but has been burned from the waist down. DJ AM's face has been burned badly and being treated now "A rep for the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga.,says that Barker and Goldstein, are in "critical but stable condition & should make full recovery, which could take over a year" Barker arrived by ground transportation while DJ AM had to be airlifted to the hospital where he had immediate emergency surgery to his face & hands. It's really sad & hopefully to other people besides me :( But I just wanted to let everyone know & hopefully keep them in your prayers, I am sad.

Awwe, Vic, I'm sorry. I saw this in the news a few days ago. I was glad to hear they were both in critical but stable condition. So at least they are going to be okay. I feel horrible about the others who died.
I've seen his house. Well, the old one in Bel Air. I wouldn't watch the video if you paid me. I'm way too much of a softy.
It's amazing that they survived. I hadn't heard exactly how they were able to make it out alive, but that makes sense. Very tragic.
Holy cow! It's hard for me to even look at the wreckage, I'm terrified of flying.
Well you know I'm right there with ya in the sadness! It's such a tragedy but at least they'll be ok! His poor tattooed body!!
WHOA! i never heard about this! that's amazing that they both survived!
